I didn't notice that two important facts were posted. The voltage of battery required. and the batteries. It had a cute little botton on the page for you to purchase it immediatley. but think a minute, if sombody is into "quick"? wouldn't the the choice of purchasing associated (and correct voltage) accessories right on the same page be a smooth move? Hey maybe I stupid, and just didn't notice the button for complete and fufilling transaction. dave

I just received this, and it comes w/out a battery. No mention of this in the specs, and the battery is an extra $40-60! Also, it is very light duty for such a tool. The instructions show an example of sharpening a knife..... the existence of a tool like this implies that it would be capable of cutting through a steel rod...!?pRipoff!

A real trooper

I bought this little grinder for quick touch-up trims to my 6 horses hooves (I have a professional trimmer do them every 4 - 6 weeks). True, the batteries only last about 10 to 15 minutes each, but I have several and I am tired by the time I run out of batteries, so it works out fine. Being cordless, it is so convenient to just take along while doing routine chores that I can trim a couple of feet every day if I want to (with 24 hooves, that works out about right for maintenance). It is small, easy to use, and plenty powerful for my needs. I am pleased with it. Last week my big draft horse stepped on it, and I was sure it was a goner, but only the abrasive disc broke, the grinder was essentially unmarked and still works fine. I will get another one of these to keep for when this one wears out or isn't so lucky next time it gets stomped.
