This drill is great, small enough to get in that tight places (Especially if you get the kit vs. the drill only) tuff enough to torque a #12 x 3". The battery is not as long lasting as a full sized drill, but part of being small is ya loose something. p I work on computers with this drill (as a hobby) and am a master plumber (professionally). In both jobs this tool shines. But if you are looking for some thing that is about the same size and is a little tougher and has a longer battery life go with the Panasonic ey6225c... both are made by Panasonic (The Milwaukee 6546 is made by Panasonic and is the same as ey503) but, the 6225 is just a little beefier.

If you're looking for a tool to save your wrists from the repetitive tasks of removing and replacing screws, this is your tool. I have owned this tool for several years and use it everyday as a locksmith. If you need to do occasional drilling you might use this tool for small projects and the battery charges up in one hour or less. The only weakness is in the clutch and lock features which over time become ineffective.

I have been using the Milwaukee cordless driver for several years now. I am on my second driver. No other driver comes close to the Milwaukee's 200/400 rpm no-load speed. As a copier and printer tech doing several service calls a day the speed of this driver is one of its most important features. I don't use it for drilling or for driving wood screws but for taking apart and repairing electronic equipment it is unsurpassed.

i have had this tool for two months now. I do maintenance for apartments. this tool fits in my pocket and the bits go in my shirt pocket. they never go in my tool bag. It has replaced my two or three screwdrivers that i used to carry. this tool is for jobs that dont require an 18vt drill it is a lot smaller and lighter. I use it to build and install ceiling fans, work on ac units, install cabnet doors, build prefab cabnets w/ persision, electricalswitches and plates with out cracking the plastic, the list goes on and on. the ajustable torc setting on this tool is verry usefull. for a 2.4 vt tool it is very powerfull and extreemly well crafted. worth every penny. battery lasts forever. for an electrican a must have. may be too expensive for a do-it-your-selfer but for a profesional you will make up for the price in a week with the time you will save at work. also good if you suffer from tenenitus. I dont think it would be as usefull to a lefthander.

This particular Milwaukee screwdriver is in use in the company I work for. They are used day in, day out, for assembly of sheetmetal components. In the four years I have been with this company, we have had to replace 1 driver and 3 batteries. Not bad considering there are 6 units in constant use.
br /
br /Keep in mind, this is not a mega-power 18 volt driver. It is perfect for light duty work like driving self tapping screws into thin sheetmetal, running machine screws, etc. It would also be perfect for a computer repair tech running case screws.

This is aimed at providing a solid screw mover for dealing with equipment. It is not designed to drive bolts into concrete. But if you are looking for a quickly charged aid in disassembling and assembling electonic equipment, this is you tool.

I am a computer tech, the first company I worked for used this screwdriver, the next company used a really cheesy cheap screwdriver and I missed my Milwaukee so much I went out and bought my own. Now I have lost it (or someone borrowed it and did not return it) and have to buy a another one. This screwdriver will spoil you, nothing else will ever be good enough! I especially like the rocker switch and that I can hold it so many different ways, I tend to have joint pain and it cuts down on the stress to my wrists.

I love this screwdriver

I'm an electrician i've been useing mine on job sites for 2 years now, mostly on industrial sites. Recently it was stolen i'm planning to purchase a second one in the near future. Accepts all standard screw tips available from any hardware store and comes with a decent assortment in a handy storage spot on the charger.

Ever tried working on a computer with a 12Gigavolt drill? First off you can't even get the thing into the tight spaces, then you have to contend with 20LBS of battery, sweating the whole time because you KNOW if you've messed up your torque setting your going to crack that brand new motherboard in half!!pWell, dump that piece of junk, your not building a house! I build/repair computers every day, i've been using this screwdriver since it started being produced by AEG (later sold to milwaukee) and it is the best tool i've ever purchased.pEvery friend of mine that works in this field swears by them . Goto your local computer shop and checkout what the guy being paid minimum wage to assemble the computers is using, i'll be you'll get a closer look at the milwaukee driver, and i'll bet the tech using it bought it themselves.pBTW this driver has enough torque on the max setting to easily drill thru wood, or rack mount your favortie server (i prefer 2Us)

No better driver for the size/power.

br / Used my last one for 18 years until the forward/backward switch broke. Tried a couple of other brands this year none came close. Batteries have lasted years...charge fast. I am in field service...use almost everyday at work.

I use this cordless screwdriver mainly to assemble and dismantle computer where space is so confined. It is versatile, compact and fast almost like my power screwdriver minus umbilical cord which gets in the way. Great product!

I purchsed one of the kits containing this Screwdriver about a year ago. It puts the other brands to shame. So far it has really been reliable, and unlike some of the reviews I have had no problem with the batteries. It is very powerfuf for its size and very easy to use in close quarters. If your like me and have to have tools you can count on buy this, you won't be sorry!!

We have 2 of these units that we have been using for about 5 years. Use is pretty heavy - probably 10,000 screws a year each.
br /
br /Screwdrivers work great, but the battery chargers go out. Usually, if the charger goes out, it ruins the battery plugged into it.
br /
br /I've probably bought 12 batteries or so, and about 5 chargers.

I've had my Milwaukee cordless screwdriver for eight years and is still running fine and the batteries are still holding a charge. This screwdriver has dropped a number of times and put through the worst conditions and works as good as the day I received it eight years ago. Though one battery is quilting out after sitting over the week end. It is well worth the investment for anyone to own. I did have some problems with pricing my new unit with several different prices for the same screwdriver. I highly recommend this Screwdriver. Bruce Boston MA

Batteries and chargers are the weak point for these I have used the drivers I have 2 for years they made a good driver but I have been through so many batteries and chargers I have lost count, I have spent way too much on replacement batteries and chargers, it is so darn comfortable and easy to use that I keep buying them but I see there is a different company making one very similar for less than the charger cost so I dare this one to go out now

I bought this for the times when my DeWalt DW920K 7.2 v power screwdriver was too bulky. The DeWalt is a MUCH better tool for about the same price (with 2 batteries) and only is beaten by the Milwaukee on compactness/weight. The Milwaukee suffers from poor ergonomics and a slick plastic housing that makes it hard to grip. The power switch is not very comfortable to use thanks to location. There is no on-tool bit storage (really dumb). Power is adequate (2.4 v) at best. Plus you would think that for this kind of money for such a small tool, it would be made in USA. Nope, made in Japan. Japan makes good tools, no doubt, but criminy, if a pricey Milwaukee brand screwdriver can't even be made in the USA, that is pretty bad.

I've had my cordless screwdriver for nearly six years and I think it's great. The only problem is my batteries last as long driving as they spend charging, about 5 minutes. Can I just buy some batteries

Another error by amazon.com. I ordered this and according to description (and picture) contains screwdriver bits. However, there were no screwdriver bits when it arrived. This makes this completely worthless to me. Customer service is a pain to deal with in trying to answer problems and questions on how to return item. No help at all!
