First - the tools. I've owned the Kawasaki drill for a while, it works great, and that was a major point for purchasing the set. The tools work great for the average homeowner / amateur woodworker. They probably aren't made at the level that dewalt stuff is made. but then again i never intended to work them for a living. decent battery life nice handling. overall 3.5-4 (of 5) on use scale. note, if you have one the older kawasaki drills (tools) there is a recall on the chargers. check yours.

br /on the downside. who ever packaged my shipment should have his paycheck docked for the crappy job he/she did. the box that the set came in was one of the worst packaging jobs I've ever seen. lets start with the box itself. the box was actually 2 boxes cut in half and secured together for a 30lb kit with one piece of tape. inside, well the tool case itself was padded with a single piece of bubble wrap that covered maybe 30% of the tool case, wrapping one time around the plastic case. no interior padding to keep the plastic case from getting beat around inside the poorly secured box. when i picked up the box off my porch the top just came off in my hands and it appeared (from the look of the single piece of tape) that it had done that a couple of times thru the shipping process. If someone along the line in the shipping process wanted to have some tools, it would have been nothing for them to lift off the top and take what they wanted, leaving me to dispute the shipping with the company. luckily, nothing was taken / damaged when i got it.
